I have a million quotes that I kind of collect. Since I tend to read a quite a bit from time to time, when I read something that hits me, I’ll write it down or save it somewhere. It occurred to me that posting my favorite success quotes would be appropriate. What do you think? Is it a dumb idea? I mean this stuff is in other places, but I thought gradually building a collection of rocking success quotes would be cool.
The person who gets the farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from shore.

I’m an absolute believer in this concept. I actually don’t believe there’s such a thing as NOT taking a risk. There is risk in everything. There’s really no such thing as sitting on the sidelines. Your wealth is either growing or dwindling. Your health is either improving or receding. Bigger risk has the potential for yielding a bigger return, but it also contains the possibility for bigger loss. People who have cash in the bank often feel they’re not investing, for example. But they absolutely are. They’re investing in the dollar. They’re investing in the ability of their bank to grow and protect their money. Don’t ever think you’re “sitting this one out” or “playing it safe”. There is risk in all things. Know what the risk is, and decide deliberately if you’re content with the potential downside and upside.
